They were talking about this yesterday with Rob Kerr. Great story, but I have a question. They said he's likely to go back to Medicine Hat next year. So, how is it that an 18 year old junior player can play in the AHL? I thought WHL players had to be 19 (or 20)?

A CHL player can play in the AHL once their CHL team's season is over.
Medicine hat got eliminated from the playoffs last week against the Oil Kings in a tiebreaker game.
