Milos wins! Nice job to close it out. He looks to be moving well on the court, so hopefully his injuries are a thing of the past for this year.

PVRed the match, I thought Milos was sharper yesterday against Bautista Agut, but give credit to Sousa, he was very aggressive and was putting pressure on Milos throughout the match.

Genie is actually back playing in the middle of the night tonight with a somewhat tough, yet somewhat wineable match against Bencic in Wuhan. Bencic just played to the finals in Japan so she might be tired.

Sounds like a set back for Genie:

Vasek has made the quarter-finals in Malaysia, gets Feliciano Lopez next. Tricky but winnable match for him.

Not sure why I'm so cynical when I read this, but I am:
"It's no secret I've played injured most of the year -- whether it was my elbow, my knee, or, in the final moments after a certain match in Flushing, my heart," Williams was quoted on the China Open website.

I read that Vasek was cramping up in the third set. Does he need a new trainer or fitness coach on his team?

Vasek took the opening set against Lopez in a tie-breaker, but then dropped the next two sets (6-3, 6-2). He would have faced Kyrgios next.

maybe cause everything she and her coach said in this article was all sad faces, despite the fact that she had one of the all-time greatest years in tennis. look at what Djokovic says about his year (which was pretty much the same thing) in comparison, and you can see why we form the opinions we do about certain players, regardless of their on-court results.

Genie had to withdraw from her first match due to dizziness (China Open). Milos is out in the first round after dropping straight sets to Troicki. Vasek plays tomorrow.

Is Genie trying to come back too early and just making the concussion symptoms worse?

Not looking for excuses for Milos, but Troicki is a tough draw for an opening round opponent. With Ferrer winning in Malaysia, I don't like Milos' chances of making London.

A Canadian will win the Beijing doubles title. Nestor/Roger-Vasselin will play Pospisil/Sock in the final.

Novak demolishes Rafa 6-2, 6-2. Worst loss of Rafa's career to Djokovic. It would appear only Stan at his highest level or maybe Andy taking it up another few levels will stop Novak from a calendar slam next year. Doesn't appear Roger can and Rafa certainly can't stop him. It's the Djoker era now.
