Just because there's way too much noise, I'm going to go with activestick for now and at least hell hopefully start talking a lite more. He was
Just so good in the last game that there's something a little off about his style this time around.

Baxter Renegade (1): kermitology
After a long day of discussing their options, the town decided that those who were hiding in the background a little too much had something to hide. They came around on activeStick, who had been getting some attention for a while now.
"Who cares what my past life was like, guys! I came here to be a different person!" activeStick argued in attempt to save his life. Unfortunately for him, that was too little, too late.
activeStick, Townsperson, lynched Day 3.
Another townsperson wrongly accused, another murdered. The town knew they couldn't rely on the two mafia gangs to take each other out without large casualties to innocents, so they would need to try harder to figure out who shouldn't be there.
It is now Night 3. You may not post in the thread during this time.
If you have night actions, they must be PM'd to me by Saturday, May 10th at 10:00 PM Mountain Time. Please title the PM "Night 3 Action". If everyone submits their night actions before the deadline, I will open the thread as soon as I process all actions.

A dense fog rolled in overnight, and lasted through the morning. Everyone cautiously made their way through the fog to the Town Square. It took some time to sort out the numbers in the group, but eventually they had figured out that another two were missing. The night had been deadly once again.
A quick search of their residences revealed that more crossfire had happened, but at a price. Slowly, the mafia were taking each other out.
devo22, Barrow Mafia, killed Night 3
GGG, Townsperson, killed Night 3
The fog felt appropriate for the situation. There were many among them hiding their true identity. How would they find them before it was too late?
It is now Day 4. With 20 alive, it takes 11 votes on any one player to hammer. It takes 7 votes to deadline lynch.

To be fair, I had a lot of reasoning, it was just misguided.
activestick still played a terrible townsperson, which takes a little sting off the embarrassment thankfully.
As I said, if anyone wants me out, go for it. I'm just going to focus a little more quietly and throw votes at whomever I think makes sense, but I don't plan on leading, considering my one big hunch bombed a bit.

Now we got something to go on maybe.
1 down from each mafia, only vigilante revealed, so we now have 14 town with doctor, role blocker and cop still alive. That's bodes well.
I'm going to look for more townies first before looking for mafia. I just feel that a tell for town is easier and more likely to be right. Voting patterns and protective quotes are more useful for finding scum.
I wonder who the cop voted for? Obviously not activeStick I would imagine. By now he should know a scum.

Man, I'm pretty much batting 0.000% on guessing mafia, this game. So does strombad predictably become the next target or do we figure that his crusade was a little too obvious for mafia?

Way too obvious IMO. The trouble is he was batting 1.000 last game and is too confident

Haha, Streetpharmacist, you're killing me man! I'm like 80% sure you're mafia, and you keep saying things that reinforce my belief lol.
That's twice now you've advocated for looking for townies instead of scum. If you were mafia that would be perfect strategy becuase it allows a lot more time and posts to muddy up the waters and target townies as scum that the "group" will hopefully jump on board with.
I know no one will follow my lead because I'm mostly just jumping on board with other posters and am batting 0.000% with that strategy, but I just want it on record that I'm pretty damn sure StreetPharmacist is mafia.
One day down the road after I'm long dead, SP will get killed and turn up mafia and you guys will be like "damn, flameswin was right".

-----Dead Post-----
whatever. This is only a minor bump in the road towards a better future for this stinking town. Noble professions like gambling, arms trade and loansharking will overwhelm your rotten town and there's nothing you can do about it.
good luck to the 3 remaining heroes ... you can win this. Make Mr. Barrow (and me) proud!

A bit suspicious that GGG points out 9 votes at 2:53 pm and asks to hold off on the hammer to give ActiveStick an opportunity for a death post and by 3:05 pm three people have voted to kill ActiveStick. Now GGG is dead and revealed as a townsperson.
Maybe it didn't matter with ActiveStick and the way the actual vote occurred but I would imagine for a lot of us a lynching at 3:00 pm on a weekday wont give us a chance to make that last post.
Anyways, devo22 coming up as mafia will give us some information to go back and look at but I'm still curious why we are glossing over the fact that a proven mafia explicitly said he would never vote for Crazy Bacon Legs.

GGG was making great points in my opinion. That and talking alot likely led to his demise.
We should rehash some of his posts and suspicions.
