Less than four hours later, the agency abruptly canceled what was supposed to be a 30-day pilot program.
“PLEASE DISREGARD,” Liana J. Castano, an official in ICE’s field operations division, said in a follow-up email to agency offices around the country.
The bonus program that ended on Tuesday almost as quickly as it began had been described as a 30-day pilot, according to documents reviewed by The Times. Under its terms, ICE would hand out $200 bonuses for each immigrant deported within seven days of being arrested and $100 for those deported within two weeks, according to an initial memo signed by Ms. Castano that was sent to the directors and deputy directors of ICE’s field offices across the country.

Probably not long. I wouldn’t be surprised if this starts happening by Dec/Jan.

If only there were people on an army base with guns. That would have stopped the shooting.

The Ovens came pretty late in the process, mostly because they realized 6 million bullets would be really useful in the war effort, it was becoming cumbersome finding things to do with the bodies, and the soldiers were actually becoming physiologically traumatized by it all.
I'm going to that the under for 2027 on firing squads, and the over for ovens. These guys aren't great students of history, and they are going to need to relearn those lessons.
I'm disturbed.

The JD 'babyface' Vance team had the army corps of engineers take the unusual step of changing the outflow of a lake in Ohio to accommodate a recent boating excursion on a family holiday, the Guardian has learned.
The request from the US Secret Service was made to “support safe navigation” of the US vice-president’s security detail for an August outing on the Little Miami River, according to a statement by the US army corps of engineers (USACE).

I suspect Donald Trump uses one of these when looking for his lost ball.

I play pretty casual golf rules, but it just doesn't make any sense lying to yourself about your score lol.
Your drive goes for a swim, drop and hit 3. Don't pretend you didn't go in the water you effing loser.

Im ok with Mulligans too. Sometimes you need a breakfast ball.
Golf is really a game against yourself. If you're crowing about your score and saying you're the best, then you've missed the point. Unless you're on the PGA or something. So cheating is only deceiving yourself.
If you want to take a mulligan because you're working on your shot, fill your boots. Dropping random balls and then giving yourself trophies is pretty much the most infantile activity I can think of.
