I think the whole thing was shot here. When it cuts to the wide shot of the arena, it's clearly the Saddledome, shot from the corner around section 201-202.

haha I find it funny that when they couldn't get the ice working one of the skating officials wanted it postponed because of the ice and said the time that was 1st at that point would stand
