You could have watched any of their games and determined that. The defense to me is a real dissapointment. I thought they would be better. I was hoping the running game would be the answer on offense but they can't stay healthy.
But they have to live and die with Romo no matter who they play because their defense can't stop anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uh huh, well I'm not sure if Young will go boom or bust yet I'd hardly call him crap.
Also Young >>> Collins. Why Collins is still drawing into these games is beyond me. Guy is completely useless out there.

WOOT! 5-0 after a 31-9 win over the Titans. I expected more heart from Tennessee with their season virtually in the balance @ home. Mathis and Freeney continue to be beasts on defense.
In terms of the offense.........I sound like a broken record every week. It is an absolute treat to watch the Colts offense and I am so proud to be a Colts fan. Manning makes everyone around him better. Austin Collie has been great in his rookie year so far. He seems like a vet already and has come up with huge plays. Clark, Wayne, Garcon, Addai, Brown.......so many weapons. Gonzalez is about 4 weeks away from returning which will only make the offense better.
I'm glad the bye is next week as it gives Bob Sanders another week to rest and he should play his 1st game of the year vs the Rams. Also gives Hayden, Jackson and Johnson a chance to get back into the lineup.
I'm so excited to see what this team can do in the playoffs this year!

Interesting Sunday indeed
The Pats loss was a nice surprise. With the Pats 3-2 and the Jets playing the dolphins on monday night, my fins might be a game back if they win tomorrow night, who would have thought this 8 days ago.
Suddenly tomorrows monday night game has a lot of meaning to it.

The team has a lot of heart and is making up for its lack of talent. They don't win pretty but they win. They have an excellent shot at the playoffs but lets not forget that the season is 16 games long.
Respect will be earned if they win the division. Right now I think the team could easily be 2-3, but hey sometimes you get some breaks and make the right play at the right time.

Before the season I heard that in each of the last 13 years at least 5 of the 12 playoff teams didn't make the playoffs the previous season. So far it looks like Tennessee is definitely out. Than Carolina and Miami are in a bit of trouble. Arizona could also lose out in their Division which takes them out and right now you have to like Denver to be better than San Diego. Even the Ravens now at 3-2 are in a bit of a struggle as they've had a lot of easy games until these past two. This game tommorrow night could really make things interesting if Miami wins.

Collins has been a decent NFL Qb, hardly a superstar but Young sits on the bench, clearly Jeff Fisher knows that Young is not going to give them a chance to win.. he is a nothing QB but at this point, might as well give him a chance... maybe he is starting to get it.

Wow for the Titans to come out like that after being 0-4 on a prime time game against your biggest rival is just a joke. BB will be eating his chops if Vince Young starts next week.
Man did the Colts look good though and the bye week could not come at a better time. Defense can only get better with Jackson, Hayden and SANDERS back.
Patriots @ Home Denver @ Home and Broncos on the road are the only tough games left on the Colts schedule. The AFC south went from being one of the most competitive divisions in football to one of the most lop sided. Indy has this division locked up and we just finished week 5. Loved watching the Seahawks just destroy those pitiful Jaguars

I think you meant Patriots @ home, Denver @ home, Ravens on the road.
Jets @ home is also a tough game. 4 tough games left for Indy.

Whoa...wait a minute. Lack of talent? Can you explain where the Broncos are lacking talent?

Perhaps KTrain was watching Boomer and Tom Jackson talk last night - both said that [paraphrasing]: "The Denver Broncos aren't a talented team, but they are well coached and they are a good team."
Other than Marshall, they don't have a superstar... they just have a really really good football team that may have been underrated by everyone before last night.

Maybe, still that's not a fair statement.
They have an offensive line that is in the argument for best in the league. An excellent set of linebackers, a HOF CB. Quite deep at receiver, and a very solid backfield.
They certainly aren't the most talented team in the league but to say they have a lack of talent is quite misleading.

Don't shoot the messenger. That's where I heard it, so KTrain's not the only one that said it.
I think they type of talent on the Broncos is the type that wins a lot of football games and can get it done in the playoffs. I am the first one to admit I severely underrated them prior to the season - they are a really good football team. Perhaps the comments are the lack of top-end, name on the back of the jersey type talent? I don't know and I don't necessarily support that claim, just trying to find a basis for it.
All I know is they're 5-0 and yesterday's game was more impressive and significant than any of the other 4. It put them on the map.

Hold on, its just an opinion but here let me break it down how I see it from a neutral fan.
They have some raw talent yes, but I am not convinced yet as its not groomed talent. Look at my dolphins they want respect after last year starting 2-4 and finishing 11-5. Well repect is earned and Miami doesn't have it not after one hot season, they started with a crazy schedule and now they are 1-3. They would be respected if they were 3-1 probably as they lost to 3 playoff caliber teams. The dolphins are not there yet.
Denver to me could easily be 2-3 but they are not. There good players are making plays at the right time. The ball is bouncing there way and everything seems to be going there way right now. Can they keep it up only time will tell or will it be the same fate as last year when they were 8-4 and failed to make the playoffs finishing 8-8. Yes I know they are a different team with different coaching, so its probably not valid to use last year.
I would rank certain teams that are 3-1, 4-1, or even 3-2 better than the Broncos in my mind. This is just my opinion. Denver won at home against NE but that is the only big win, can they win against a big team on the road, maybe we will see next week in San Diego. They beat Cincy on a fluke play, they beat cleveland one of the 4 worst football teams in the league, they beat oakland one of the other 4 worst football teams in the league. They beat dallas who barely beat KC yesterday (also one of the 4 worst teams in the league). Dallas is not a playoff contendor in my mind.
I will wait and see how Denver does against San Diego, Baltimore and Pittsburgh. If they are 5-3 I would say they are pretenders if they are 7-1 after that, then this team is probably for real.
Just my opinion, no one elses, and don't get me wrong I was rooting hard for the broncos yesterday and was quite happy when they won. It helped the dolphins out.

I wasn't shooting you or K-Train for that matter. I'm just curious as to why that thought exists.
I underrated them prior to this season as well. You might remember I predicted a 4-0 start and a 6-10 record to end the season. Clearly, that's not going to happen. I honestly thought they'd lose handily yesterday.
That defense is way better than I could've hoped...and I think the offense is just now starting to click a little. I think they have a lot more to offer on that side of the ball.
