I hope they start a bunch of young guys who are able to make a game of it, then just pile on the usual offensive starters well rested at the 60th minute to try and finish it off.

Akio said in his latest Youtube video he was dealing with a quad injury but would be available for the last 2 games.

Add in some mixed cloud and it could be a really nice look form the stands during the first half.

I don't even mind that it is predicted to be about 9° at kickoff. My English genes find it fresh, proper football weather.

Is it strange that I overthink things like this? I honestly can't help it.
Sorry about the rain, guys. That’s on me and my optimistic post.

I bailed. I’m not super interested in standing in the rain for a couple hours!

That ended up being a lot of fun. Luckily we were under the roof though. The vibe was surprisingly upbeat, the rain stopped by halftime, and the good guys won.

It was a good win, we got all the U21 minutes in and we move along to close out the season.

Fun game! Glad I never showed up early or I would have been soaked.

I hope the Cavs win out.

I love rain games. The crowd seemed way better than last game too.

Nice to see the guys buckle down and get it back for Marco. He has had a pretty solid year all things considered so nice to see the team bail him out. Tough 5 minute stretch for him. Nice to get it out of the way before playoffs. He’ll be sure to be dialled in the rest of the way

It was actually really strange, but in a good way. I'm not sure if it was the Friday Night Lights factor, the rain, people getting a little sauced beforehand, or maybe a little bit of everything. There was a neat buzz last night that I wasn't expecting. Especially given the weather, a "meaningless" game in the table, etc.

It was a great time. I think it was a bit of all of that and the rain may have kept some of the “casual” fans at home and for a lot of people there it was a chance to have some fun after 5 good but frustrating years. Chance to celebrate the team and just have some fun in a game that meant nothing

I also think the atmosphere may have been boosted by an underlying feeling of confidence and anticipation of a potential double at the end of October. When we went down 1-0, it didn't once feel like we were not going win last night.

This sense of overwhelming optimism feels very strange to the 52 year old Calgary sports supporter that I am, but I like it!
