Probably his biggest win since beating Nadal at the Rogers Cup in Montreal. Way to go Denis.

Powerplay Quarterback
|
Hurkacz plays Shapovalov next, correct?
Then if he wins that, he has to face Federer?

Yes, Denis plays Hurkacz next and Fed plays Stan tonight. The winner of Fed - Stan would play the winner of Kyle Edmund and Radu Albot. So I would say the chances of a Shapo - Fed match are quite good and we'll get to see plenty of one-handed backhands.

It's flying under the radar with all the success of Felix, Denis, Milos, and Bianca, but Gaby Dabrowski and partner Xu Yifan are into the semi-finals in women's doubles at Indian Wells.

Djokovic is on the way out!
That will decimate the entire top half of the draw.
One of these guys will make the final.
Kohlschieber
Monfils
Karlovic
Thiem
Struff
Raonic
Nishioka
Kecmanovic

Joker is in real trouble - Down a set and two breaks in the 2nd set to Kohlschreiber.
Edit: Gets one of those breaks back.
Edit 2: Two real bad consecutive games in a row for Kohlschreiber. Still serving for the match up 5-4, but he's crumbling.

Anybody watching Khachanov-Rublev match? Looks like KK has gone back to his old green Wilson racquet.

Yes indeed that is the case Karl - I know he signed a deal to use a different blade this past off-season, but maybe he had an out clause?

Yeah, maybe he had an out clause. All I really know is that he had initially switched to using a black Head racquet at the beginning of the year.
Just first noticed that he switched back to using his old tool during his doubles match playing with Medvedev as they faced off against the Bryan brothers earlier in this tournament.

Khachanov moves on in straight sets and will next face John Isner. That will be a tough match for Big John as the Russian appears to be playing great tennis with his old racquet.
