What a stupid look for the league - A nearly knocked out QB, laying motionless on the field while the refs just stand in a circle together collectively wondering what happened to the guy literally holding the ball.
unlikely it changes the result if called

You mean Oilers fans; there is no more embarrassingly delusional fan base than Riders fans, except perhaps Oiler fans.

yep, rider fans seem to have a real arrogance about them, must be the sustained success the franchise has had for so many years

The reffing is so bad in this league now I’m done as a season ticket holder. I can’t justify the price I pay for tickets (almost 175 a game for two tickets) in a league that requires teams to use their only challenge each and every game on calls that any competent official should be able to get right.

and yet the supposed "best leagues" like the NHL, NBA and NFL have the same issues. Those threads are filled with remarks about the ineptness of the onfield(ice) officials.
Human error is a part of human officials, and that play was blocked from the head officials view. Alternate officials may have been looking at other things.

Frustrating but it will never change as long as humans are part of the equation. The players themselves earn more and make more mistakes.

Yeah they missed that call yesterday, but the truth is that the one guy who would have had his eyes on the QB at that time was clearly obstructed from seeing the hit. It would be worse for officials to call something they didn't see than it ever will be for humans to miss something that happens.

It didn't decide the game (thankfully) and is simply part of sports and always has been.

Glad Sask lost, they were not a good team all year and didn't deserve to be hosting a playoff game. Fluked their way to a good record with defensive TDs, but you can't count on that in the playoffs. Sure enough, their D didn't score in this one, and they lost.

Don’t have a first reaction on the east game, but love Stamps at -4.5

I'm surprised to see the Stampeders favoured by that many points.

It looks like the dirty bird just crapped out a turd. Put it another way, the lark just had a shart.

Ya, don’t love that logo. The other mini ones on the helmet and that they wore throughout this season are nicer IMO

Better than the angry bird carrying the football logo, with so many small parts. A football logo should be visible from the seats.

Dickenson is undefeated in Western Finals. It’s the one playoff game the Stamps rarely ever disappoint.
