Gotta think they did their due diligence.

Of course they did. And the Stern stuff has been around forever.

A mature, powerful woman who's collected her own impressive battle-scars over the years, has her own ideas of how to fight him, but first she must forge an alliance with a spirited renegade who doesn't easily compromise. Ultimately, she also needs the help of some younger women, all of whom had previously been sexually violated by the tyrant, in order to defeat him. Against a backdrop of environmental destruction, powerful storms, and wildly swinging polls, the race ends with pretty-much all of the tyrant's followers going down in flames.
So can we just get away with telling future generations that Mad Max: Fury Road is a reasonably accurate historical drama based on this election?

If the chain of events is accurate, I don't think anyone outside of NBC could have known about the video as it was in NBC's archives which aren't public.
AP had published a story about Apprentice employees saying Trump was rude and sexist, a producer in NBC recalled this 2005 incident and they dug up the tape and NBC had decided to run the story but at the earliest Monday after the debate.
The footage was available on internal servers because Access was working on a story about it. Someone in NBC leaked the tape to Fahrenthold and they put the story up right away.
How many appearances on TV and media has Trump had? It'd be impossible to vet them all.
I mean that video I posted earlier with Trump talking directly to the girl about her on her knees is right on youtube, but I haven't seen that one in any media story anywhere.

Wow, this is a new low for Trump. He's really grasping at straws now.

Democracy in action!
That press conference was awful.
What surprises me about this outrage from that tape is, how could anyone be surprised? That is classic Trump.

If you read "The Making of Donald Trump" by David Cay Johnston or the Author of "Trump's" first book Tony Schwartz, it was only ever going to be like this. There was no other outcome

Trump's called these same women he was using as a female shield losers in the past, etc, and has in the past defended Bill and Hillary. But now it's politically advantages to strap people who say they've been sexual assaulted to his chest. Abhorrent.
I wonder if I should watch the second episode of Westworld instead of the debate. Might be better for me.

Trump is, which is the alarming thing. He's speaking from experience, experience assaulting women's sexual agency.

Women only have value in the context of their relationships to men. It is known, Khaleesi.

Some pretty f'd up stuff has shown up in this thread, references to Trisomy 21 or babies?
Can't wait for this debate to get going and this gets back to Trump's stupidity.

I honestly don't think this debate will be as crazy as the media is making it out to be, just due to the town hall format, which is of course more structured. As the smarter, more seasoned debater, this format definitely favors Hillary more than Trump.
