Hey guys, a quick update. My old brothers and sisters with Fort McMurray fire department are still at it. Here are some more pictures sent to me of the battles fought over the last few nights..... Today they finally got their first hot meal in four days so things might be starting to look up! Still can't say enough about how proud I am to have worked with these amazing people and the amazing people here on Calgary Puck.
Sorry about all the pictures. If you guys want me to keep up with what updates I get from the fire department let me know.

Thanks kerriffic, please keep posting. Those pictures are unreal, can't imagine what those firefighters (and all emergency personnel) feel like. They are some pretty amazing people.

I was one of the first to reply so I'm not so anonymous on here any more...lol....don't do anything dirty with that knowledge!
So the RM of WB tweeted that the Firefighters are not looking for places to stay or eat and that the request isn't legit.
It is a wonderful show of Canadians literately giving up their homes for those working so hard, so I am not sure if you want to delete the post or not, considering it isn't legit and has peoples personal home info. Fort Mac is currently empty I think other then first responders, so maybe no big deal?
I don't know, thought I would just mention it and be the Debbie downer.

Got an update from my best friend. He said things have gotten worse as far as the fire burning and they are doing everything in their power to keep the fire away from the city.
