Reading Craig Button's bit on Monahan before getting drafted. It's creepy how much truth there is to this.

Sean is a very well rounded player who has versatility in his game and can play multiple positions and situations and do it extremely well. His skills may not be flashy but they are very good with a mind that is exceptional. His skating is very good but what he does so well is change speeds and keep opponents off balance. He is quick and very difficult to knock awry. He recognizes opportunities very quickly and is able to take full advantage of them. Call it 'opportunistic' if you will but he finds a way to be productive. Very good touch around the net and his shot is accurate and he is deceptive in his approach. He can play on the wing and he can play a defensive role but the beauty of Sean is that he understands what is required of the various positions and roles and doesn't necessarily need to score to contribute to winning. Very balanced and selfless player who performs when it counts.

Crazy how people get offended FOR other people lol. I understand the sueing part, not worth the risk, but fans pretending like they have some emotional connection to players is pathetic. It's a game. Chase your dreams, have some goals. Not directed at anyone in particular, I just see it all the time. People care more about what some random person thinks about their favorite hockey player then what the government is doing or having some goals.
