Absolutely the best anywhere (at least that I've found). Curious...do you pay or do you use free?

Just wanted to add that I picked up an open box ONN Google TV box (2023) at Walmart for $15.
Am really impressed with it. I installed Projectivity Launcher and SmartTube on it and remapped the buttons with button mapper (all free) and it's quick through menus and fast to load apps - and all bloat free.
It is what it is - lacks Dolby Atmos, etc but is HDR and as far as my hands on goes you can't beat it for a Google certified entry level box.

Can't say enough about Projectivity Launcher. Can include the best of Google TV without the ads/purchase options. Clean, fast, free, available in play store, fabulous.

Definitely try Projectivity when you hook it up one day. I have one other CCwGTV on a spare room TV that I'll add it to as well.

In the process of finally cutting the cord at the moment. I picked up a Philips digital antenna and it picks up CBC, CTV and CityTV nicely (don't care about the last one) but not Global. Any tips? Would an added amplifier be guaranteed to pick it up? Or is it just a matter of playing around with the rabbit ears? Any particular direction to point the rabbit ears to?

Positioning will be important, but it's probably more a matter of just trying different locations with the unit itself, and the rabbit ears.
Big advantage here 'near' major US city. Have the Tablo 4th gen tuner/DVR and get over 170 channels (with small outdoor antenna in attic) , though I have deleted/hid almost half of them.
Hope you find a spot that works. A bit better antenna might be better than a booster. Hard to say. Good luck!

TVFool has a guide to picking up stations. What part of the city are you in? You should be getting Global.

I've come across that site in my googling but it weirdly times out every time for me.
I'm in Canyon Meadows.

Walmart has just released a new 'Pro' version of their Google TV Onn streaming box. Lots to like about it. It is in stock nearby me, and I may buy one to try out.
What's to like:
3GB of ram
32GB storage
wifi 6
USB 3 (which means, among other things, with a relatively inexpensive device can add gigabit wired adapter).
Supports Dolby Vision and Atmos
Google chromecast/Hey Google/speaker device
What's less to like:
Behind TV probably not the best location for Google home speaker, but still nice inclusion I guess
$49.98US is no longer at the budget price point the $20 stick is, and at that price point is it much better than latest version of firestick 4k or Google TV with chromecast?

Not sure these will draw much interest, but more is better, right?

Real Debrid is basically dead, as far as torrent type streaming goes. Numerous apps that previously used RD are no longer functional, as of today. Of course there are other similar premium services out there, but I expect they are next on the list.
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Rip Real Debrid. You will be missed.

Can confirm. Everything is borked.
My sub was up at the end of the year, so I got decent value at least.

I finally convinced my wife to let me cut cable tv. We’re with Shaw and you can’t access Video on Demand without paying. A friend says same with Telus. We have Netflix and Prime. Cancel cable and add Paramount + and we’re good. I stopped watching news after Nov. 5; too depressing.

It is alive and well. Only was down for couple days while they made changes. Add one and apk's needed some tweaks but otherwise streaming well.

For local stuff just get a small wall antenna. Can catch the local news etc. and quality is surprising good. Been streaming only for years.
