Raonic vs Isner is on right now on sportsnet.ca, it's 3-2 in the first set for Isner, Raonic about to serve.

Federer is probably going to be ranked 7th going into the US Open with another loss today. Part of me wonders if he isn't throwing this match to avoid Nadal next and get some more rest before the US Open.

when was the last time Roger got breadsticked by one of the guys from his generation? maybe he's thinking he should have pulled a Bartoli after Wimbledon last year, and gone out on top. or maybe for the next tournament, try an even BIGGER racquet. like 150 square inches so he never frames the ball again.

Damn, saw Milos was up 4-1 in the second set. Just checked again and now it's 5-4 for Isner with Isner on serve.

Frustrating...Every time I think he's making positive strides, he takes a step back. You shouldn't be dropping a set that you're leading 4-1.

Personally....I'm cutting him a bit of slack on this one....hes played a ton of tennis lately and with his injured shoulder his serve doesnt have the same pop as it usually does....hence hes getting broken more frequently. Isner is really on his game right now too.

Hopefully he heels up for the Open

aaand....there goes Andy. a few hours from now, 3 of the big 4 will be jetting out of Ohio with their tail between their legs. and Rafa bites down on another masters trophy. he's certainly playing well enough to lay claim to the true #1, but the other guys aren't making it too tough on him.

all hail the king of...hard?

Thought about picking Isner today for a ML but didn't. Now doing a bit of self-kicking.

Some of the sports outlets made a big deal this week about not having an American in the top 10 or something like that for the first time in 20 years. What an answer by Isner. I'm not the biggest tennis fan but I still remember his marathon match from a few years back. I hope he rides this wave all the way to the open.

Yeah that was good stuff last night. Nadal is in a groove right now that I just can't see him losing the US Open. If he was fully good to go at Wimbledon he might have won that one easily too. Might be some of the best he's played this year.

I had pretty much forgotten about this one, but we do have a Futures tournament right here in Calgary this week...3 or 4 semifinalists were Canadian, with two Phil Bester and Braydon Schnur) making it to the finals! Match starts at noon @ the Calgary Tennis Club, with free admission!
