I'm gonna have to start having more beers at the Rose and take the bus... I can get two beers there for the price of one at Spruce Meadows, don't have to pay $10 for parking, and get to hang out with the best supporters and fans in the CPL from start to finish!
Last Saturday's supporters bus was insanely fun. I wish that was EVERYTIME
Can confirm. Party Up by DMX still stuck in my head.
Pre-game Writer's Tears FTW.

So Forge and Cavalry have the exact same record, get knocked out of the cup at the same round, both clubs having injury issues. Forge's coach gets nominated for coach of the year and Tommy doesn't. Classic CPL...

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence. I mean between that and how the top players who just go there on a free transfer shouldn’t be a concern to the rest of the league at all.
Today would have been our home game if we crawled into second. It would have been entertaining in the snow, but I'm cool with the 20 degree gorgeous fall day we got instead.

I still think the league needs to wrap up by the end of September. We got lucky this year, but if that game was played in “normal” weather for October they draw a much smaller crowd.

Completely unsurprising, part of terms Bontis negotiated with the CSB to give up control of the national governing body to the for profit third party.
Top player is YTBD, but reading that link, the kid played in the U13 Concacf Club Cup. Didn't know such a thing existed at that age.
Do all club teams in Canada have chance to represent Canada (haha I'm here all week, try the veal) or is it a highly polticial rep only team where your address has to be in the GTA and you have to be highly connected?
Anyways, Cavalry have 11 Forge players, 3 officials, the the CSB and by proxy the CSA, and Wheeler and Dunfield, to defeat today. Forge not being in a league final will be a disaster for the CSB who is basically the Forge and CPL ownership, and we will see playoff structure changes next year again.
