There was a very dramatic shift a few years ago you can even point to one upper management person who changed the culture from people first and actually being kind of good to people, to, squeezing people into a bloody pulp. Once I get my final payout I'll be happy to field any questions about the internal woes at that sh*thole.

Some people misunderstand the difference between a notary and commissioner of oaths. I used to be a commissioner and could do things that prople believed required a notary. (UCB, I’m not referring to you.)

Great point.
and I don't know.
I have a document, a legal document from Texas that needs to be witness, witness line says "Notary Public in and for the State of...." then it has a space that says "My Commission expires......"
So yeah, I'm not 100% sure I need a Notary or a Commissioner of Oaths, TBH.

That requires a notary. Commissions are only good in the province of the commission.

Rarely it can be done right, but mostly I find it's used as a crutch to stimulate audiences into being excited and paying attention.

ya agree but on the flip side when its done correctly i think it creates some of the best entertainment.
pulp fiction. x men. and for tv, the greatest series finale of all time, all good things for star trek TNG.
All good things to this day is the best piece of tv sci fi ever. Gold.

I used https://www.notarypro.ca/regions/calgary/. They have what appears to be a network of home based notary’s. we found one within in few blocks of our house and booked online through the site.
Was pretty painless.

I hate it when people turn left from the right lane or from the middle of the road straddling both lanes, so you can't get by in the right lane.

Yeah it's a tightrope but when done well it's effective and can produce exhilarating payoffs. Most often it ends up being confusing.
Watching the Monarch Legacy of Monsters show, they're using it really well, even though much of the rest of the writing and acting is pedestrian.
