Honestly.. I think Stone gets traded today.

I really hope its the Flames but its either them or Jets. I would be so pumped if he plays for the Flames tonight. Too much smoke.

I think the second tier guys and depth moves get made tomorrow.

The Sens would be foolish not to trade Stone. They already set the market for him with Duchene and he more has even less incentive to stay with Dzingel gone too. With Calgary in town... man, I sure hope it happens.

That dude is not an insider. He's been wrong way more than he's been right, which has only been once or twice about things that most people predicted (Gulutzan and coaching staff going to be fired soon...ya nobody predicted that happening lol, Brouwer being bought out, shocker!).

He's also banned from posting 'insider rumors' on r/hockey as he couldn't verify any source to the mods after claiming Nylander was going to be traded.

And this info about Stone is exactly what LeBrun posted yesterday so it's not even 'new' info, he's just rehashing what was already stated. He's a clown, and from his actual comments on reddit seems like a terrible person. He should never be referenced or spoken of again.

I think hes the same guy as flames 1217 or whatever- he one who told us we were getting brassard, then Simmonds, and like 5 other things that didn't happen at all.

-Chiasson in play for right price (my best guess, a 3rd gets it done-otherwise they keep him)
-Benning, Petrovic on the back end may move
-team inclined to keep Kassian
-Ready to make a deal if good players w/term are available RD/Top6W

IIRC he (she?) was spot on for the value on some of the RFA deals, Hanifin, Lindholm, maybe Backlund?

Definitely has a better success rate than a total fraud would.

I’m pretty sure that Reddit poster is either Commadore or someone posting what commadore posts on twitter. Same tag and everything.

It’s supposed to be a joke, he even posts pictures of a laptop with empty pop cans and hot pockets by it and calls it his “trade center”.

Treliving is gonna make Ottawa sweat... No team will pay what Ottawa wants for a Stone rental in my opinion and Calgary’s offer for a signed Stone is probably pretty good. It all boils down to Stone being willing to sign here.

If the Senators have decided to trade him to us, wouldn't it make the most sense to do it after he would have an opportunity to play for us? I can't see the appeal of dealing away your best player just so that he can play against you. Hopefully the deal can be reasonable and they are just working out the extension today, and he gets dealt immediately after the game.

When the Flames got Tonelli, the deal happened before the game but he wasn't allowed to play against the Isles (Konroyd and Lromm suited up for the Isles though).

They did this for Duchene, so not sure why they wouldn't do it for Stone.

Yeah actually BT can put a little more pressure on Dorian and say if this isnt done by 3 this afternoon, then the deal is off the table...we need as many games out of this guy as possible.

I still dont believe this gets done though.
