Really? That's all you've got? I expected some long diatribe post about how good music is subjective and you'd then share some story about subjective tastes from your wealth of concert going experience.

And for the record I know for a fact rubecube appreciates good music.

The fact that you used the term 'live in sin' indicates you might already be there. Is there anyone under the age of 60 who isn't a total nerd that thinks that an unmarried couple living together is doing something wrong?

well I'm not over 60, but If they are trying to avoid sex before marriage then its pretty dumb because it would be difficult not to give into temptation. of course, if they don't care and are having sex anyways, Its not necessarily wrong. of course it could be argued as not wise.

edit: haha off topic, music taste is subjective in my opinion. some people like rap, some like country, some like pop, some like classic rock, some like alt, some like new rock, some life jazz, some like a little bit of everything. a large portion of CFL fans are older or enjoy classic rock so BTO isn't all that bad of a choice. I can think of many more bands that I would rather hear, but the game is about the game, not the halftime show.

This is who the CFL should have put on the halftime show. He probably would have paid them a pretty penny to do it too!

I actually don't mind a few BTO tracks but these guys are ancient. Why the CFL doesn't try and skew a little younger is beyond me.

Also, the bands at the official tailgate party? Bif Naked and Trooper.

If someone convinced april wine and chilliwack to perform it'd be the best thing to happen to edmonton in years.

Any halftime show still beats having the Black Eyed Peas in 2005. Ugh!

Finally we are back to CFL talk!! A few years ago the Riders went over the cap as well, right? Teams who goes over the cap should lose their 1st round pick. It is so easy to go over and not worry too much about it if they are just getting fine for some amount of money.

Montreal is the only team to ever lose a pick because of it IIRC.

For anything over 100k the fine is double and you lose a 1st round pick I think. BTW the fine is the amount you go over.

And the Riders went over by the 26k because they, for some bizarre reason, didn't release Dorsey until after the deadline and so his cap counted 100%. They would have been way under if they'd have not been morons and released him outright earlier in the season.

And when you think of the total cap and the amount going over and everything that is counted into the cap going over by 26k is peanuts. Because almost every single $$ the team spends with the exception of its coaching staff count towards the cap. Even team meals and #### like that count IIRC.
