Dozier was a late scratch for yesterday's game and he seems to be an important guy in the Stamps secondary (calming veteran presence).

The secondary was brutal but so is the defensive play calling. Sucks to see us move on from a guy like Mace and continue to keep a liability like Monson. The defensive line really makes up for a terrible scheme.
Good to see deep plays being hit but the turnovers are a issue with Maier.

They missed what, one single-point and three (four?) two-point conversions? There’s the ballgame. Calling for two-point conversions in the first half is being too clever. Take the point (most of the time) and move on.

That would likely be a season ending injury.

Missed the single PAT point but got it back on a punt rouge but the other points are bang on. 2 missed 2 pointers in regulation and then another in overtime. They also gambled in field goal formation, Stevens was stopped short, that play changed the game imo. Take the FG there and the game doesn't get to overtime. Not too mention they had taken the game over and that stopped all momentum. In all pro sports, coaches and managers out think themselves far too often.

He's also a good player should help with the loss of Vaughters. That DLINE is the reason the defence has been anything so far this year.

The Calgary Stampeders have acquired defensive lineman Ja’Gared Davis from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2024 CFL draft.
Davis had seven defensive tackles over five games with the Ticats this season in his second stint with the club.
The 32-year-old from Crockett, Texas appeared in the Grey Cup in all six of his previous CFL seasons, winning the title with Calgary in 2018 in his first stint with the club and Toronto in 2022.

How stacked was that team from 2016-2018.
Davis, Vaughters, Johnson, Thurman, Law, Singelton, McManis, Evans, Roberson, Smith and Wall and that's just the defence.
Truly one of the greatest teams of all time.

Early in practice, but looks to me like Isaac Adeyemi-Berglund slots in at defensive end for the Stampeders with Vaughters out and the Davis trade voided
Also looks like Josh Coker starting at right-tackle after the o-lineman spent first six weeks on injured list.
Don’t think we’ll see Tre Roberson on Sunday. Moxey is at boundary corner with Kobe Williams next to him at the half-back spot.
Might be Nick Taylor’s time at field corner, too.
Also, missed this earlier but I’m not seeing Reggie Begelton at practice today.
