But....Darren Dreger said the Leafs called him....and he's from Toronto you know (splooge). It's sickening. When they were discussing Hall I was waiting for Dreger to mention the Leafs too, but he somehow restrained himself.

Not a rumor, but I have a gut feeling Chris Tanev is going to be our Brodie replacement. I literally have nothing to base this on outside of a racing mind.

I would be good with that. Give him a 2-3 year deal, the short term nature allows for Valimaki and Mackey to potentially grow into a top 4 role.

Gotta think Rittich is on his way out now. Almost 3 mil is steep for a backup and he has almost no chance of being a starter here now. Flip him for a mid rounder, free up the cap space and sign a cheap 20 game caddy with all the UFA goalies out there makes a lot of sense if anybody wants him.
