Klimchuk was not in the lineup for Regina tonight, hopefully its nothing serious.
Was at the game. Gordon played great, not afraid to stand in front of the net, and has a hell of a release (I don't think his goal was actually in, hit the cross bar and straight down).

He has decent size too.
To add: I'd say Gordon was the 2nd best forward in the game after Graham Black (5th rd pick, NJ Devils, 2012. Same draft year as Gordon, but 1.5 yrs older).
Best Dman in the game would have been Honka for the Broncos. Good skater, very good with the puck, but smaller stature @ 5'10. Projected to go mid-late 1st round in 2014.

Curious: I had heard previously that he drew comparisons to Moulson in his play style when drafted (great shot, willing to drive the net, but not much else to his game). Has he improved much in the other aspects of his game?

Couldn't tell you. This is the only time I've watched him.
It was a quiet night for the Flames college prospects. BC and MSU had the night off. Yale was shutout and Colgate lost 2-1 to Harvard (not surprisingly, no points for Harrison).
Providence defeated Maine 4-2, at Maine. Jankowski had an assist on the fourth goal. Gillies stopped 28 of 30 shots for the win.
Elsewhere in Hockey East, there were a couple of upsets and two of the teams Providence is fighting with for playoff position were defeated, so they currently sit in a tie for third in Hockey East. A win or a tie tomorrow will guarantee them a bye to the quarterfinals (top 5 get byes). A second place finish is still possible if PC wins and Northeastern and UMass-Lowell both lose.

In my last post, I accounted for Providence's win tonight, but not UMass-Lowell's. Providence cannot catch Lowell, so they cannot finish higher than 3rd in Hockey East.
Here are the Hockey East standings going into the final day of the season:
Boston College - 34
UMass Lowell - 25
Northeastern - 22
Providence - 22
Maine - 21
New Hampshire - 20
Notre Dame - 18
Vermont - 18
Boston University - 11
Massachusetts - 11
Merrimack - 8
BC and UML are locked into first and second. Because of the tie-breakers, Northeastern can't finish lower than fifth.
2 of Providence, Maine, and New Hampshire will get the byes to the quarterfinals. The team that ends up sixth will host Merrimack in a one game play-in next weekend.
Providence and Maine play each other tomorrow, so Providence can guarantee their bye with a tie or a win.
The games that matter for Providence are (all games go Saturday at 5:00pm MT):
Providence @ Maine (PC beat Maine 4-2 on Friday night)
New Hampshire @ Merrimack (Merrimack beat UHN 4-2 on Friday night)
Boston University @ Northeastern (BU beat Northeastern 4-1 on Friday night)
Providence will finish:
THIRD...With a PC win and Northeastern tie or loss OR a PC tie and Northeastern loss
FOURTH...With a PC win and Northeastern win OR a PC tie and Northeastern tie or win
FIFTH...With a PC loss and a New Hampshire tie or loss
SIXTH...With a PC loss and a New Hampshire win

Super pumped for the game today, hoping JG can close out the season with a W and the point streak. I had to work so I bunched all my breaks and lunch into 1 lump timeframe to watch in the company game/break room. These are the games the JG usually shows up big! P.S the game is Televised on NESN
