They might still have some available at Red Skull comics on Edmonton Trail and 7th. Just call them.

Yeah wish they would have said something on the website instead of spending time trying to go get some.

If they're sold out, is it even worth going to try and buy a ticket the day of? Or is it just going to be too busy because of the people they've got?

I got in last year buying a ticket there and I think the stars last year would have been more of a draw. Also, they have more space this year don't they?

Anyone have suggestions and when to show up Saturday morning to avoid waiting for 3 hours (like I heard last year). Have an advanced ticket as well.

I plan to get autographs from Kate Vernon and Summer Galu for sure. Still deciding if I want to line up hours for the Shat.

I think I might wear my Boston Bruins jersey tomorrow.

Wish I could go this year. Jonathan Frakes is always fun to hear from.

Three hours in line, to get in?

I'm going to head down there in the morning, but if it's anything close to three hours I think we'll just turn around. That's a bit silly.

^ Ahhh so you mean lining up for the very start/opening.

I was half thinking of swinging by just to see stuff - probably wouldn't bother if it meant 3 hours just to buy a ticket lol. I'm hoping/assuming after lunch it won't be that bad . . .

Jesus, I was going to head down at 10:00AM, but if I won't get in until 1PM then screw that. That seems ridiculous.

I'll probably still head down but damn, if the line looks too crazy I'm bailing, I'll post on CP if it is indeed pretty bad.

I want to go tomorrow and Sunday. Sucks that I didn't get the early tickets, but work keeps me too busy to go out during the day.

3 Hours to get in, then possibly another 3-4 hours to meet Romero. I'll literally be a zombie by the time I meet him. Also, if I do decide to go, can I bring my copy of Dawn of the Dead to get signed, or?

Romero cancelled last minute. Apparently he injured his signing arm, and wasn't able to fly because of it.

I wonder if going down at the time of the first Shatner signing is an idea, everyone that wants to be there for that will already be there and lined up for that.

Official Statement from George Romero:

"Dear Calgary Expo Fans,
Sorry I can't be there with you this weekend. As luck would have it, I banged up my arm the other day and can't autograph. I was looking forward to seeing Calgary and meeting all of you. I hope you all have a great weekend, and I look forward to getting there next year. Thank you for your loyalty and understanding!"
Stay Scared!
George A. Romero

Also from the website...

Kevin Nash is canceling his appearance due to a film project.

Can we get a drunk Scott Hall to take his place, pretty please?

That's what I did last year. Probably the worse part was the utter chaos. Waited 45 minutes in one line to find out that was the line to enter the hall, the 2km long line was the one for tickets.

(ok slight exaggeration on the ticket line length, but it was longer than I was willing to wait for).

Arrived at 9:45 this morn. Lineup was very long but moved VERY quickly. No longer than 10 minutes.
