Durant wasn't touched though - MTL just tried to wrestle the ball from him.

'riders tried their best. They were lucky to be in the finals and were outclassed.
...Maybe next year though.

Durant is just not a good QB in this league, and last weeks loss hurts even more because it shows just how weak the Riders are. Still can't believe the Stamps choked that one away.
Anyone have flashes of Giants/Pats when Durant broke away from that sack. Eli regained his composure and threw a strike...Durant..not so much!

Eli didn't throw a strike. His receiver made the catch of a decade.

Sask didn't deserve to be there and didn't deserve the win. At least they're getting used to going home empty handed.

Strange cryptic comments from Calvillo in the post-game interview.
Other than the Grey Cup itself, the CFL has really awful trophies. That MVP award looks like something you'd get at a Jr High Tournament.
No team has lost more Grey Cup games than the Riders. Nice to see them widen their lead in that regard.

Probably mad that the Riders couldn't afford to pay off the refs for the 4th quarter too.

I like how the Als players are saying we came out West twice in hostile environments to win the Grey Cup (which is true), however didn't the Stamps beat you in your home stadium in front of 65,000?
I would say that's way more hostile than what you had to face.
Montreal is just lucky they play in such a garbage division where they can coast right to the Grey Cup every year.
Here's to hoping next year there's a new East representative, although I highly doubt it.

Too distracted trying to figure which acting maneuver he was going to use to draw a PI call. Saw one play in the first half and it was the late late flag on a call he drew again thanks to his dramatics.
Can't belive Durant would actually throw that last pass. And no Suitor he wasn't trying to throw it out of bounds.

Boy Duval made that game much closer than it really was. What a horrible kicking performance. Thank god the best team got to win this game.

The trophy looks like its made from tin foil, I can still remember the lions celebrating with two piece of it when they won.

Well you guys mentioned it here, Sask was very conservative. Afraid to lose.
You all thought they would throw more deep balls.

to be fair most times ssk and cgy have gone to mtl to play they've lost. MTL is a good team in a garbage division but still the best team of the decade

I loved how Suitor tried to put a spin on a terrible play by calling Durant courageous. Sure breaking those tackles was impressive but that throw was destined for failure the moment the thought entered his head.

No doubt they're the best team however, I'm going to sound like Darryl Sutter here but if MTL is in the West, there's no way they go to 8 Grey Cups in the decade.
The Stamps would've given them a better game today and maybe won.
