I'm by no means a music connoisseur so anything I hear would be from the radio (meaning it could be "pop'y"), but every time I hear Helena Beat by Foster the People, it puts me in a good mood. Especially if I've had a couple pops at the bar & it comes on.
It replaces Pumped Up Kicks as my current favourite song, by the same band. Apparently I need to buy their CD..
If you get Torches from Best Buy you will also pick off a couple bonus tracks : "Love" and "Chin music for the unsuspecting hero" which are both good. From I-Tunes you get Broken Jaw which is addictive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L20XgU9K_1o Either way you can't go wrong. This music just seems to hang on like the weather.

This guy played Vancouver last weekend on the same night as Bon Iver and Pearl Jam. If you had tickets for all three I think you go to Bon Iver and then rush to the James Blake show to see as much as you can and end up at Pearl Jam for the stable of encores. Another example of concert envy I have towards Vancouver
