Some halftime thoughts:

-Offense had a rough start but did better towards the end of the half. Would like to see Dickenson be a bit more aggressive with the playcalling - only seen one shot down the field it resulted in a PIF call. Jitters should be out of Burris by now - time to be a bit more aggressive.

-Defense has actually been good but has given up big plays. Brandon Smith got greedy after his picks lately and there was seven points. The line isn't sacking Durant but has made him throw quickly and not accurately. He is reminding me of Casey Printers a bit with his "heave it and hope" mentality. If the D continues this play and eliminates big plays they'll be fine.

-Return game has been horrible but I'm fine with that as long as the cover team limits returns, which they have.

To summarize, the O needs to just execute a bit better and take some shots downfield, and the D needs to eliminate the big play.

A winnable game.

I think a heavier dose of running plays and more long drives are the strategy for the second half. Keep pounding it at that undersized sask defense and they're going to get run down. Oh, and as Arlo said, a few more aggressive plays would help, too.

Yea, I like seeing him roll out and either launch a pass or go for a run.

Return teams going backwards tonight. It would be nice to have a return without an infraction. I can't believe the rest of the team is so well coached yet the special teams are Eskimos worthy.

Huge opportunity squandered, 2 and out and Calgary would have gotten great field position, now Saks is moving the ball.

Another 2nd down, come on D time for your 1st sack for crying out loud. Almost a sack!

that was a close one. Just keep punishing Durant and he'll get scared soon.

Jeez, I was just thinking how Murphy needs to use the field on his returns rather than just running straight ahead, and instead he looks like he's going to try to go wide, then returns to the exact same lane where he started and gets a loss.

Not crazy about the play calls for this game, too predictable. Oh joy, Burris tosses one away, frick. Huge game changer.

Wait, no catch. Huff tosses the challenge, Hank got lucky there that hit the ground.

Stamps haven't had much of a rushing attack. Ugh. Patrick is a Burris killer.

I don't see any receiver around. No INT on that play.
