Give me a break. Every season he's got a slow start, throwing bunch of INT but he bounced back after 4th or 5th game. Burris definitely misses a big threat receiver(Rambo) and someone who he can rely catching the ball whenever he need a 1st down(Ralph). I wouldn't give up on him just yet.

I don't doubt he can recover by the end of the year, but it's time to start phasing him out next year.

He literally posted the exact same post on the rider board ...oh and blames hitting the upright on the Italian kicker.

What is with Calgary fans? Criticism is fine, but the whole make-a-mistake-and-you're-garbage business about local players is ridiculous. Burris ran plenty last year.

Bad decisions, I agree. But he also had some very good sequences in that first half. He has always been a bit of a good and bad player, the reason he is always in the shadow of other quarterbacks. Give him a bit of slack.

After the 1st half, the game is tied 7-7. Calgary played well in the 1st quarter but Saskatchewan came back in the 2nd. DL Tom Johnson is having an awesome game chasing and trying to punish Durant most of the half. Pretty strange that Durant is not even worried about throwing the ball on Brandon Browner's vicinity. We are seeing what happen when Durant is getting more time to throw.

I thought Reynolds was good in the 1st quarter but for some reason they abandoned him again. They put Cornish for a few series. I like Cornish but he can't run like Joffrey. Burris and Bryant are having some issues tonight. Bryant drpped an easy catch close to the end zone luckily they still scored TD on that series. I think one of the reason Burris is struggling is the defense knew he will throw the ball or hand in the ball to Reynolds. He rarely run the ball for a gain this early season so far, Burris plays well when he uses his feet a lot.

Defense should keep on pressuring Durant all night. Offense needs to play better and mistake free.

And here come the Riders. I hate the Riders as much as the next guy but Durant is the real deal.

I love Burris and Bryant. It's like Flutie-Pitts all over again.

That was a good series. Pretty much mistake-free. Can't blame Burris on that last throw as McCullogh managed to get his hand on the ball. Calgary 17-10.
