25 to life is the best track on this disc, IMO. Just sick.
I've listened to it a few times through ... I like it quite a bit. Love the Rhianna track, 25 to life is excellent as well. Also really like Space Bound and Cindarella Man. A little too much singing from him for my liking, but that's just a personal thing. I do like that the one time he uses the silly accent thing is when he's referring to how shi**y his last couple albums were.
I like most of the album, I think it's great. Then again, I'm also one of the 'few' who really liked relapse as well.

I'm sorry, but I can't stand Eminem and I am a pretty big hip hop fan.
His new single is so typical of what I expect from him. Throwing chairs around, gun shots mixed in....what are you so angry about Em?
Watch "I'm Not Afraid" and then watch this. Eminem doesn't hold a candle to Sage Francis.
“Don’t listen when they tell you that these are your best years. Don’t let anybody protect your ears. It’s best that you hear what they don’t want you to hear. It’s better to have pressure from peers than not have peers. Beer won’t give you chest hair. Spicy food won’t make it curl. When you think you’ve got it all figured out and then your universe collapses…trust me, kid…it’s not the end of the world.”

^ I'm expecting Detox to be a massive flop/disapointment because there is just no way to live up to 9 years of hype.
I don't think it'll live up to all the hype... but the lead single is straight up brutal. (To be fair, I do think the leaked version is missing the hook..). It sounds like Dre was listening to a bunch of Black Eyed Peas tracks when he and Scott Storch came up with this beat.
It's just sad because there were a bunch of reference tracks for Detox that leaked last year... and those were out of this world good. Like easily on par with the 2001 or chronic material. I wonder whatever happened to those...
Finally got around to listening to it last night and it's by far the best album so far this year. The production isn't as elaborate as his last album but it's solid and Eminem just makes it flow. From around track 6 or 7 it just takes off. Is he sampling Ozzy Osborne?
I finally got around to listening to this album. After three listens, its just not doing it for me. Too much acoustic guitar, and too much Eminem singing. This one is going in the suck pile.

Listened to the entire thing other day and thought it was ok. I give this a 7.5/10. My favortie song was "Love the Way You Lie". The song "Going Through Changes has a personal touch for me.
I've gone through it a few times and it's IMO the album of the year so far. So many songs can be singles and it had solid production. Jim Jonsin is an up-and-coming producer and basically works with anyone and has an odd style, but really does a great job on Space Bound. Check out his other stuff (aside from Lollipop). Funny thing is, he looks like a guy who'd be farthest from a hip-hop producer. As for the album though, 25 To Life is also real cool.
