I'm so sad. Band 10 fail here. Looks like my fall just became another try. I am debating whether its worth it to spend the $100 and have it retabulated....I was so convinced that I had passed

My absolute worst nightmare scenario. Best of luck whatever you decide.

Still a couple weeks before L3 results are out.

I made a snap decision and spent the $100. I figure the worst that can happen is that my mark either changes for the worse or stays the same...either way I have to re-write.

Reading this thread always makes me glad that I am finished with school and examinations, although there are always professional certifications I can do myself to open up new career opportunities.

For you guys, once you pass or achieve your CFA designation(s), do you have to renew it or re-write it every few years? Does it expire?

L3 results out this morning and... I've passed. Looks like my life is going to become less stressful (and more lucrative).

Can't tell you how distressing a fail would've been at this point.

^H&L - once you are are a charterholder you do not need to rewrite the exam but there is an annual membership fee and continuing education requirements.

Congratulations.

There are no continuing education requirements, by the way (anyone actively working in the industry will do more than enough reading on their own)

My wife is writing level III this year. Fingers crossed this is it.

Good luck I can't say I know how difficult the test is but I see the amount of work that goes into it.
