I definately recommend it.
Sidereel has it as unofficially cancelled. Probably not worth getting in to for just one season.

For those who don't know why I compared the Wire to Treme, it's created by the same guy, David Simon.

I'm watching Treme, and I love it!

Of course, I'm a bit biased since I've lived in New Orleans and plan on going back as soon as possible.

There is a lot going on in every episode that you kind of have to be an "insider" to figure out. For those not privy to these things, NOLA.com has been posting an "episode in review" each week.

I started to watch Lost again... I can't believe I quit beginning of season 2 back in 2005, IMO the BEST series on television this decade.

Along with all the Dexter, The Wire, The Shield (I love all those too), etc, etc recommendations, how about The West Wing?

The West Wing is one of my favorite series when it comes to more tame TV. It was intelligent and had a good sense of hidden humor. Season 1-4 I would recommend to anyone, Season 5-7 arent as good, but are still better than almost all of the programming on network TV.

Another Aaron Sorkin favorite of mine is Sports Night. To bad it only ran 3 seasons.

I'm definately a sucker for Sorkin's dramas, with the unexpected humor. I also liked the single season of Studio 60.

I'm loving Dexter right now, I'm just finishing up Season 3 this week.

I still need to finish The Wire, I've only watched the first three seasons.

Dexter season 4 is way better than season 3. 3 was good because it was Dexter, but it wasn't as good, the best episode was 11, *spoiler* when he finally killed him.

Season 1's first 4-6 episodes are still my fav. though.

That's Laura Vandervoort from V on ABC, airs Tuesday nights. She's Canadian, too.

She recently starred alongside Temoh Peniket (Battlestar Galactica, Dollhouse) in Sci-Fi Channel's "Riverworld," based on the novel by Phillip Jose Farmer.

Riverworld is being shown periodically on Canadian television on Movie Channel on satellite.

I liked the show but it wasn't well reviewed.

I was really into these two as well.

Season 1 of Murder One was brilliant.

Homicide was ahead of it's time.

If anyone is a fan of the west wing, there's a show from the 80's from England called Yes, Minister (and follow up series, Yes, Prime Minister) that are extremely good as well. It's very dry humour, but extremely well done.

So I just watched the first 2 episodes of Chuck and I highly recommend it.

Cool show, like 24 with the action but with a silly character and a hot partner/friend.
