Can't North Korea and South Korea somehow get to play each other in the final of the world cup?

A Good time to bring out this again.... Vice Magazine Film crew does a "tourist" visit to North Korea... very interesting. 3 parter that takes about an hour to watch

Very much worth the time.
I think the better, and less propaganda filled, travel to North Korea story was done by the Canadian series Departures. Episode 1 of a 2 episode trip to the DPRK was on Sunday and the next one this week. I found the first episode to be a bit more balanced as there was no US agenda to be pushed.

As if Vice has an US agenda. More often than not their travel videos end with, "We are told one way about this country from western media but after visiting there we found it to be the opposite."

Vice seemed to be attempting to push the "look how ridiculous and backwards these people are".

Or to put it a different way, because they were American, the DPRK were trying to give them a certain impression of the country while the Departures guys are just some Canadians, with a British guide so there was less of a curtain put up.

I liked the Vice guide stuff, I just find the contrast between the two stories and perspectives interesting.

edit: didn't know the guy was from Montreal...I swore he had a US passport.

Tension on the Korean peninsula has been rising since the sinking of a South Korean coastal warship in late March. An international investigation concluded the Cheonan was hit by a North Korean torpedo. Pyongyang denies any involvement and says any moves by the United Nations to punish it for the act could lead to war.

World leaders at a G8 meeting Saturday in Canada criticized North Korea over the sinking and its nuclear program.

North Korea on Monday announced it would have to increase its nuclear weapons capability, blaming unspecified threats by the United States' military. This comes following criticism of North Korea at two summits in Canada,
