No, NY is cool with you being gay or athiest. It's your flaunting of the laws of this country that is the problem. So you're gaythiest? Is that a word?

Unless you guys just sat in your hotel chugging natty ice before hitting up papa john's...

We did carry out our beers without issue but we drank most of it in our room. The Papa Johns came after the walking...
And no I don't have ADD lol.

I'm keenly enjoying the pile on of the one dude but this is rich, aren't you the guy who admitted to drinking and driving?
I think that's a whole hell of a lot worse than walking around at age 20 drinking a couple beers. I could also launch into how ass backwards 21 as a drinking age is but I agree with you that laws are laws.
My take:
I love watching people get piled on for my entertainment but there are a LOT of condescending pretentious people in this thread. So the guy doesn't care about food, there's worse things out there.

Aw c'mon guy, I'm just having a bit of fun. Yes, I am the drinking and driving guy. We've already established that I'm the scum of the earth, I'm in a good place with that. But thanks for coming to the party.

hahaha well at least you are a good sport. I don't think you're the scum of the earth, just seems awfully ironic, that's all. I'm not perfect either. I actually think dj guy has handled himself fairly well, most people would have exploded by now.

Expand on this please. The whole part about shooting gays. I've noticed in a couple other threads a homophobic theme and defamatory comments about homosexuals. Just curious about why you think a Gay, or more specifically a Gay Atheist might be shot?

I think the crux of it is that he went to NY, a cultural melting pot in the US, and ate at Sbarro and Papa Johns. It's akin to me saying "I had the greatest trip to Mumbai. The people were so great, the culture amazing, and I ate the most kick ass Big Mac at a McDonalds I found". Just seems off a bit.

I'm not homophobic. It was suppose to be a comment against close minded americans and how the NYPD like to shoot people...

I strongly disagree. The best thing about laws in the Western world is that they are fluid rather than static, ie: stupid laws (hopefully) get changed while new laws are created to govern new situations. Being 7665 days old and not being allowed to buy beer, but being 7670 days old and being able to = ridiculous.
There are points in our history, collectively or otherwise where absolutely asinine laws have been repealed. And they've only been repealed because people stood up against them. Laws are laws my a$$.
But anyways I seem to have been missing the point of this thread which is to make fun of DJ_Patm for placing a different value on his taste buds than everyone else in the world. So carry on then CP, carry on.
