It arrived last night and the short time I had with it was awesome! I really enjoy the challenge rooms where guys just attack you ... I probably would have paid $40 for that alone.

I don't buy many video games, so the ones I do buy I have fairly high expectations. This one definitely delivers. It's a huge game, tons of areas to explore, lots of mini-games, some puzzles to figure out...overall this game is just fun. I just wish I had a nice sound system; this would sound so good on surround.

You are 100% correct. This game sounds amazing for those with home theater equipment. The surround effects are amazing and the voice acting is amazing. The production quality reminds me of Bioshock.

I don't pretend to know how some freak got 50,000, that's crazy, but after practicing, 18,000 points isn't impossible to get... don't get me wrong, it's hard and I've rage quit a few times but it's doable.

You need the throw and combo upgrades to really have a chance to get all three batwings.

Also, different moves generate different point values.

For instance the ground and pound move (R2 and triangle) is 1 x 250 points, so if you finish off a 30 hit combo with it, you get mondo point multiplication.

if you use the batarang, throw, instant takedown, ground and pound, and the rest of his combo moves in round, you get a varation x 7 bonus, worth 2000, 500 for not getting hit, and 1000 for doing everything in one combo. That right there adds up.

I "pre-ordered" this game from Bestbuy.ca a few days before it was released. My order status is still "out of stock", two weeks later. It's availble at every store in the city, but Best Buy can't get a copy? I'm pissed. This is the last time I ever pre-order a game from Best Buy.

Whenever I play I always get a message that says "an error has occurred." When I'm in a fight with several guys or it's going to a cut-scene is when it seems to happen the most, has anyone else had this problem and/or know how to fix it?

Nope. I've played through it a couple of times now, and never come across any error, actually.

xbox 360? try installing the game to your HD, see if it helps it.

I fixed it. It had nothing to do with the game, it was an issue with the trophies. Whenever I earned a trophie it would say "an error has occured." All I had to do was sync them then the game worked fine. What sucks is now I missed all the trophies from the first little bit of the game so i'll have to replay it when I beat it to get them.
