Ah, forced environmentalism.

Ha we.re not even allowed to leave bagged garbage out. We used to have 2 different recycling bins, one for cans and bottles and one for paper. Now we have one large bin on wheels. We also have one for household trash, one for yard trash. They warn that if the wrong thing goes into the wrong bin the bin # can be traced to our address. But since the pickup is all done mechanically I have no idea how we would get caught.

OK, I didn't really give a about the bums rooting through the blue bins, as My feeling was "well, you put the cans in the bin, so who cares who redeems the deposit".

BUT now the pricks have me firmly against them.

I was putting some recycling in my blue bin(which stays in the lane full time) this morning, and what do I find?
My tenant's garbage dumped in there...minus the Garbage Bag!
At least the fooks didn't strew the trash all over the lane, but really?? Dumping garbage in the recycling for a garbage bag?

So, here's what I've come up with...

1) Move blue bin out of lane untill garbage day (not going to do that, As it's a pain in the ass)
2)Booby trap garbage,blue bin to activate feces-soaked Punji stakes when disturbed EXCEPT on garbage day.
3) Only put out garbage on garbage day.
4)Print up a polite sign mentioning "absolutely no-felching-refundable-recylables-in-blue-bin-or-garbage".

Am I missing anything???
