So what are these jokers going to do? Wait until we try to board, and then deny everyone? I'll be the guy inciting a riot if that's the case.

Hopefully we get a little warning if someone pulls the plug on this. I'd hate to spend my holidays doing f-all when I should be in Europe.

I agree with Tron, what can they do now to prevent us from getting on the flight? We all have our confirmed etickets. Will they just send an email saying that they made a mistake and refund our $116?

I think the bottom line is if Span Air chooses not to honor the tickets, media pressure would be our best chance.

The recent codeshare agreement between AC/Span Air would be the focus, along with the stories of the 50-60 people that booked this deal.

So take/save those screenshots of your fare over at Span Air and whatever documentation you have.

Hmm. If they cancel it now, it's not really any impact to me as long as they refund my money, since I haven't booked anything else yet. If they don't mention anything until the week before the flight (or something) and by then people have hotels booked, other flights booked, ferries booked, etc. etc. etc., they are going to have a big problem on their hands with upset customers.

Last time I checked, the hotels don't just start handing out refunds because your airline screwed you over.

If it seems to be good to be true it generally is... I don't understand though that there hasn't been any notification sent out yet. If I cmyden was posting some of the negative info I would think everything would be fine and dandy.

Sorry, I usually don't like to mention other forums on forums, it's often frowned upon, wasn't sure what the policy was here. I want to use the power/resources of as many Calgarians as possible to get us all the best deals! Of course the flip side to that argument is that the more people that know, the faster the deals go.
