Correct me if im wrong but...wouldnt that guy not be getting beat if he didnt lead the cops on a high speed chase
Ps soo Mikeys friend is a cop and Mikey hates all cops
Does that mean he hates his friend?
No,.....................but I do like to poke fun at him sometimes.
Don't call me a hater........I just dont have alot of respect for what the profession has become.
The reason abuse of practice is not acceptable has nothing to do with sympathy for criminals, but instead, ensuring that the rights of a non criminal (like me) are protected from a cop "having a bad day".
That is accountability

I'd love to hear the defenses of this action. Clubbing and throwing a man to the ground as he walks away from you with his hands in his pockets. Absolutely disgusting.
I agree that the 6 cops diving in and beating him is over the top.
But how do you treat a murderer who possibly has a gun. The suspect oviously has no respect for human life so what respect does he deserve from the police. Do you walk up and say, excuse me sir would you please put your hands behind your back so we can arrest you after this car chase which you endangered many lives?
For me, if say 2 cops had done that I would have no problem with it. The fact that the guy flew out of his minivan has absolutely no bearing on it for me. If you are in that line of work you baton first and check if he is conscious second.
It seems that people assume that cops should always give suspects the benefit of the doubt and treat them they way they would want to be treated. Well if you are a murderer and have just endangered many lives of fellow Calgarians in a high speed chase, then no offence but that person deserves no respect whatsoever. Yes cops need to be held accountable but they dont get paid to be saints.

the beating aside, I just love this guy flipping out of the car. You couldn't replicate rolling your car and flying out the window (reletively) unharmed if you tried 1000 times.
Someone needs to make that an avatar or sig and send to me

I would have to say as well that the kid in the car got what he deserved before the beats.
The cops lost their objective and rightfully so lost their jobs. Karma is a female dog.
No kidding. This pathetic jerk even during just the small amount of the chase they showed tries to kill one of the cops by running him down. And the poor guy was punched a few times--what a flippin joke. I personally wouldn't give a crap if they had run him over a few times.
I find it very amusing that when I suggest in another thread that we should do our medical testing on lifers instead of animals everyone calls me a sick individual yet it is more acceptable for the police to run them over a few times. Sometimes CP can be very hypocrytical.

What I find amusing is that you're calling CP hypocritical, as if we are all one person. We're all different people with different opinions. If you find a post in one of your animal rights threads by JohnnyFlame that makes him seem like a hypocrite, then call him out on it. But don't call CP hyprocitical as if we're either all hypocritical or all not hypocritical, with no middle ground. C'mon, you're better than that.
