lol ^ I never thought to put blood on my sword! I also like your idea of hanging the skeleton arms ... I may have to up the creepiness and put bloody doll parts all over mine.
So as you can see I'm currently sporting the space costume with a lion nose, bow tie and cape. I found the first shot to be a little too reserved and you couldn't see the cape so I went a little more dramatic for the second shot.

Haha that was from the first time I tried decorating. Pretty much just slapped random stuff everywhere and never bothered to change it since. When playing multiplayer online the reactions people have when they first enter are hilarious.
So I'm on my quest to collect and ace everything. I'm on the boss in the Mexican Level that throws timed (and not so timed explosives). Aceing some of these is going to be a real pain in the ass I think. On the upside I can't believe how many items I missed on my first time through the game. I'm only on the 3rd level and I've almost doubled my collection already.
I finished getting my aces on sunday
just need to collect all the prize bubbles now, gotten a few games in with a friend to complete some of the 2 player challenges

Anyone experiencing lag when playing online? I'm getting massive lag in this game. My other games seem to be fine its just lbp that's killing me. It was pretty well unplayable this weekend.
this is probably the funniest game I have ever played multiplayer. The best level is where you drive a car and leave everyone for dead as you drive away LOL.
The most significant addition is undoubtedly the Paintinator, a small firearm that's integral to the level pack, and one whose introduction has serious potential for LittleBigPlanet's community of creators. Able to colour the scenery as well as any partnering players, it's introduced alongside a paint-switch that detects hits and depletes a life bar. The possibilities for the weapon are merely hinted at in the featured levels and the real excitement comes when the assets are placed in the hands of the LittleBigPlanet's real architects - the players.
so the MGS pack is 5 lvls
kinda wish it was a little longer, took a couple hours to ace and collect all items, but the paintinator is as much fun as it looks

I was thinking about getting this game (over Resident Evil 5) but I was wondering if it's worth the money just for single player alone. I don't play multiplayer a lot (if at all) so the only thing I may do is ask my lady friend to give it a whirl and see if she likes it (trying to get her off of Zuma).
Any comments about the single player portion of the game would be greatly appreciated
I personally found the single player to be a riot. It was tacked on late, but most I've heard from feel the single player is worth the cost of the game. It's much more fun co-op, so getting your lady to play with you could prove important.
the game is fun single player but as Russic says its just that much more entertaining multiplayer
the game content for LBP is pretty limitless though. The story mode levels can be played through in probably about 8 hrs or so if you just want to finish them, and dont care about collecting all items or getting your aces
where the game can really excel though is in the user created content found online. Some of the user generated levels are extremely creative and fun to play through, and the addition of the paintinator a few months back has given creators even more options (you dont need to have bought the MGS add on to enjoy user created content with the paintinator either)
just an example of user created content....
