I believe the HRM consists of over 300,000 people. Also, I've chosen to live outside the city and have a 40 minute drive because I wanted to be out in the country have have peace and quiet (after my Calgary experience) and enjoy my 2 acres of land and not be able to see the houses next to me for the trees, woods behind me, and woods across the road. So instead of 40 minutes, it took me about 50.

Just yesterday I was talking to a former coworker/maritimer and saying that I was glad winter was over and that it was a long winter. He was bragging about how awesome it's been out there. Guess he's not bragging about it today!

On the noon newscast they showed a clip of a driver stopped on the Deerfoot cleaning the snow off his windows with big rigs zipping by. Driver got lucky as no one rear ended him. Talk about stupid moves

So, how was your drive into work today?
I live in the deep South had to drive to the far North... It took around 2 hours.

Deerfoot was a mess seen lots of accidents and lots of folks sliding all over the place....

Here in Eau Claire the snow is almost all off the trees.

I put a ruler on the patio table on our work deck, and it was at 10.5 inches at 11:00 am. It is now at 8.5 only 1.5 hours later.

Yup. When I got back from my morning jaunt I parked in the parking lot because I'm scared of my truck getting hit on the street... I pulled out my tape and stuck it in the virgin snow and measured 14". And that's not including the snow that was caked under the head of the tape.

Clear blue skies up in Edgemont. Let the meltdown begin. I feel bad for everyone who washed their cars in the past few days!

There are massive puddles on 11th Ave and 8th Street

You can’t cross the street without getting soaked

One of my clients came in from Trochu this morning... said that everything was fine up until the south side of Airdrie.

The roads in Kingsland are little rivers right now.

I have three in the back of my Jeep right now.

$20.00 / jug

Probably cheaper than most gas stations today......

My fault guys. I went skiing yesterday, and it always snows the day after I go skiing. Just means I have to go again I guess!

I woke up this morning to go to class, and I was like "WTF?" And then I just had a -eating grin on my face all day from the combination of Skiing yesterday, Flames win, snow on the ground (I love snow), and another Flames game tonight.

It is a balmy 8 degrees here in the glorious sunshine in Edmonton!

Hey, I have to take advantage of the rare days where we don't have snow, and you guys do.
