About 7 years ago I randomly realized that when slurring the letters OBCT together quickly, I pronounced the word "obesity". I thought it a clever pseudonym, so I've been using it as an online username almost exclusively since.
Recently, though, I've augmented it to "OBCT_kills".

In highschool I had an article of green clothing on at all times so my friends nicknamed me Kermit. I was signing up for some yahoo account or something and needed a username.. Immediate thought was Kermit, but that would certainly be taken so I coined the term, kermitology (the study of Kermit the Frog) and it's been my online pseudonym ever since.
And as I have stated many times, there is no capital K in my name.
It also fit because I used to be an usher (wearing green). When I became a head usher (blue jacket) I contemplated a new name involving Grover, but stuck with kermitology.

mine comes from the fact that I have, on occasion, let the clutch out too fast and stalled the engine. my wife went from "smooth, Rick, real smooth" to the current "reeec - oh, swaaah - vay" as per the horrible Gerardo song.

Well I knew that I would post on here often. I thought it would be sort of odd to see a regular poster with the nickname involving Temporary.
From what I recall this forum wouldn't let me use TemporaryAccount, or Temporary_Account, or Temporary, so I tried this and have stuck with it.
Mods, if you would be so kind, I wouldn't mind being switched to simply "Temporary"
