FF - For the record I met my wife in a pub. We dated for 6 years and now married for 7+. It can work, just make sure you go to a pub where you are comfortable and it’s not a "meat market". Be yourself and just have fun.

Not sure why girls always have to rag on other girls for the way they dress. If a girl has a nice body and wants to show it off, let her. Most likely that girl works out 5 days a week, runs, eats well and does everything in her power to take care of herself.

I know girls who go through hell to make sure they are healthy, not only to look good, but to feel good. It isn't a secret that working out makes you feel good about yourself, eating right is another big step in that direction. Most girls who call them out on it are insecure about themselves.

I was one of those who said dont go to a bar to find it, and then followed it up with saying I met my current gf at the bar. It's not that it is 100% not going to work, its just that the odds arent great. Yeah I met my current gf at a bar and its going great, but I've(and I'm sure many others on here) have also been burnt many times by people they met from the bar scene. I mean I'm 25 so I've experienced the bar scene for awhile now, and obviously in that time have had my share of getting phone numbers and going on dates with these people, and this is the first time its actually turned into a good, solid relationship. I think my ratio of meeting girls and having it turn into a good relationship has been alot higher at other places than from the bar, hence the warning.

Its not that everyone at the bar are a bunch of idiots or something, thats now what we're saying at all. I think its just that the general theme of people there are still in party mode and just looking for a little action, not really to settle down at the moment. Hence why its not an ideal place to look for "Mr/Mrs. Right" at.
