Good thing Brandon kept telling themselves Calgary wasn't tired for the first two so there was no reason to try any harder for games 3 and 4. I still don't understand what their coaches were thinking with that angle...

Frankly, the Wheat Kings are lucky that the Hitmen were tired, or this series would be over. We were dog tired in Brandon, and still kept both games close. These last two in Calgary, the Wheaties have been completely dismantled. Hopefully the Hitmen can ride this domination into Brandon on Friday.

Bad cliche night in Prince George, where the Cougars just knocked off Everett in OT to tie the series. Colourman had this pearl of wisdom: "It was loud in there; you couldnt hear a pin drop when that puck went in."

Does anyone have a code for Hitmen tickets? I don't care which one but for $10 tickets I am not to proud to beg.

Amazing start for Calgary. PP 15 seconds in, and a goal 40 seconds in. The Hitmen are continuing to dominate Brandon.

2-1 Brandon now, and Brodie Dupont went all stupid. Tries to spark the Hitmen by picking a fight. Our best scorer against one of Brandon's slugs. Not a smart decision.

Turnaround slapshot by Fingren, and Calgary is up 4-3 with 2 minutes left.

...then Brandon ties about 10 seconds later. Spence's terrible glove hand costs us just 21 seconds after our goal.

Sweeeet!!! OT win. This should pretty much demoralize Brandon after being up 2-0 in the series now down 3-2 and having to go back on the road.

According to the WHL guide, 8 seconds is a league record for fastest OT goal.

Just in the playoffs? Because I remember Ryan White scored for the Hitmen just 6 seconds into OT in a game this past regular season...

Sorry, yeah, fastest playoff OT goal.

White's OT winner earlier this year tied the regular season record.

Elsewhere in the league, the Giants are looking to close out their series with Seattle.. Up 3-1 in the second, and J.D. Watt got tossed in the first for an elbow to the head of Seattle defenceman Bretton Stamler. All Giants shots are like 25-9. Medicine Hat swept Regina with a 6-3 win tonight too.

Watt better hope that the rules in the WHL are different than the NHL, otherwise he might be looking at another automatic suspension for two game misconducts in one playoff year.

Plus he already got suspended for the first game of the Seattle series. Giants win convincingly tonight. I'm thinkin a Vancouver/Calgary WHL Final would be half past fantastic to watch.

Well, if the two regular season games are any indication... a shootout win in Calgary, and a 1 goal win in Vancouver for the Hitmen this year.

You know that both the WHL and Shaw/Sportsnet are praying for a Hitmen-Giants final. The two largest Canaidan WHL markets in both the final and Memorial Cup would mean huge ratings for both.

Whoever wins our series is going to have to face a buzzsaw in Medicine Hat though. The way we are dismantling Brandon right now, it is a shame that Red Deer couldnt take out the Hat in the first round. We would have swept past Regina as easily as the Tigers did, setting up what would have been a really good East final.
