I like the Cheechoo pick. At last season's pace with Thornton, he'd have 110 points over 82 games.

Cheechoo could work out phenominally... I just didn't want to go with a dude who's only played godly for 1 season... but he probably will impress again.

I was gone all day, come home to see only 3 picks so far today?
Yikes, we have to step it up a bit better than that.

I think if everyone sets their options to get email notification of PMs, and PMs the next person on the list when they've made their pick, it will go a lot faster. Of course, if everyone checks this regularly that works too. Another option would be to schedule a time to finish off the draft live, with everyone on the board at once. (Sunday afternoon?)

doh!
well lets hope that changes. I always seem to rush drafts and end up selecting hurt or unsigned players

Haha, I would've just said "Gionta... that's interesting! Playing for which team?"

I was waiting for somebody to slip up and was hoping it wouldn't be me because you just KNOW it'll be caught.

Oh I have no doubts Gionta will be playing. It's just a matter of what line, and where. And Mr. Coffee, I know exactly what you mean. I was worried about my pick (Jagr) because he ended last season injured. For me though it's less a matter of getting caught than it is my competitive spirit that makes me want to avoid an error.

Shouldn't Tilley pick again and it continues back down?
edit: Is it just me or is this year an excellent hockey pool year?
Seems to be a boatload of guys that can potentially put up big numbers... instead of like.. only 10 or 15 like in the past..
maybe i'm wrong about that.

Things are going a bit faster now which is good. Just a friendly reminder to check back whenever you have a chance!!!
Looks like the 20th position was a really good one. Tilley got Datsyuk and Elias. Not bad.
