Results from Australia and the crazy race it was...will throw in comments later.

P1 goes to Agulati with 3 correct slotted and 5 top ten. P2 is 3thirty with 2 slotted and 8 top 10.

Spoiler!

I absolutely hated that it was rounded to a tenth of a second. It’s not like the graphic was any smaller and I’d rather have more data than less.

I prefer the more compact timing board during the race. Hundredths and thousandths have no practical use during the race, only qualifying.

But you would not be alone if you did not like the change. Social media was having a field day with it. I don’t know what anyone is using that information for and maybe it’s just people are used to what they’re used to and change is hard.

Rumours that an announcement is is imminent that Bahrain and Saudi GP’s being cancelled.

I think I'm on 16 points. I had 7 top ten. Norris is spelled wrong and it think it's messing up the formula.

Overtake mode requires a driver to be within one second of the driver that they are following so it creates ambiguity for someone following between 0.95 and 1.04 of a second as to whether overtake mode would actually be in effect for them.

You know I bet I read about a thousand comments on Reddit of people complaining about this and not one mentioned that. That’s actually a legitimate gripe.

Every single one of them said that they absolutely need the hundredths and thousandths because it’s vital to their enjoyment of F1 but never specified why. lol.

Ok I’m in favour of hundredths being brought back then.

Ahh, but you, and everyone on reddit, are assuming they are rounding the times.

I assume they are truncating the times, which makes way more sense than rounding.

That means it is 100% clear. If it says a gap is 1.0, they have overtake.
If it says 0.9, they don't.

Isn't there a single detection point now for the overtake mode? Nobody watching the timing tower knows exactly when a car is passing that point, so I do declare that this complaint is full of ####.

The better solution would be to highlight a given time blue once that mode is enabled. I'd rather have those 2 extra digits denote tire life than useless thousandths. While we're at it, lap times should flash up for 3-5 seconds every single time a driver crosses the line.

The multiviewer thing looks promising for watching races on replay. It was annoying to try to sync up two tabs (one with live timing).
