This isn't true. Off the bat the brutal travel and BTB schedule was raised and some posters sneered at that being any kind of reason for losses and said "all teams travel". Which is true, but not all teams had travled and certainly hadn't played 3 games in less than 4 days (twice).

Yeah the negativity is a bit much. Let things be what they are and trust in Conny's plan.

I for one, like to hear everyone's takes on the individuals and the plays of the games and the things that happened in the game. Just me. Rip me if you want.
Preach, brother. Same for game threads.

Inconsistent team. Also, 2nd lowest cap spent in the NHL behind Chicago, who is likely saving up for a large Bedard raise and picking the best time to build around Bedard.

Columbus looked like trash last night.

Chicago is still very much a team to watch for the McKenna lottery. They had a great start, but they have tumbled slowly, and are only 2 points ahead of San Jose, for instance. I thought that they would be bad this season, and was surprised with their start.

St. Louis I expect will do some recovery at some point - if they don't decide to sell in the next month. All bets are off then, but I can't imagine the Blues will be lingering this far down.

I got the Oilers twice in a row this morning which was pretty gross to think about.

Well... at least that is SJS picking, I wouldn't mind the oilers winning and not having the pick. it is the second best outcome.

It says here if it's top 12 the Oilers can give them their '27 first rounder as long as they don't trade it before the deadline.
