Kerins definitely has good awareness on the ice. Generally doesn't look rushed and makes confident plays with the puck. Cheering for him.

I don't think he's injured. The Flames just have a lot of D competing for spots, and he's way down the depth chart IMO. He wasn't that good for the Wranglers last year IMO. It might also have something to do with the team sending him a message, similarly to how Kerins, and Morin didn't get to play last year.

With the d deployment the way it is tonight I think they designed this game to be a loser in the hopes that a player rises out of the rubble. So far not much of anything. Early still tho.

That was the worst period of the preseason. These players are fighting for spots and this is the performance they show up with.

Should make some decisions easier at least.

I've already seen enough of Kerins this preseason to know that if I'm Conroy he's on my opening day roster.

Miro is waiver fodder. He asked for a trade in the offseason and they couldn't find a taker allegedly.

I'll honestly be shocked if Poirier plays an NHL regular season game with the Flames....ever.

Early thoughts on Prosvetov, he works some weird angles. Seem him drop his inside half back a few times and not squaring up to the puck carrier. Almost as if to not block a puck dut to have it deflect off him. If that makes sense.
