We need the Panthers to move on. They have the best chance of knocking out the Leafs.

It's kind of funny how American fans mock the lack of Stanley Cups in Canada in recent history, when it's mostly Canadian fans that want the Canadian teams to lose, except the one they cheer for.

At the moment, the Florida pick is 22nd. If they win two rounds, it becomes 29th or worse.

Can't see him getting that much in the playoffs. I think he may get a game or two max.

You know sometimes they say no head contact ok. But it’s a cheap hit to your shoulder and you fall ass backwards on ice your brain rattles. You gotta get that #### out of the game. Can’t hit players that are vulnerable like that head or shoulder or any hit.

Am I the only one that doesn't get the outrage with the hit on Barkov? It's interference but Barkov is just made of glass. Anyone else this is a 2 min penalty.

Yeah, go figure... But it makes sense:

Edmonton - can't state the obvious
Vancouver - more or less the same; plus it's more fun with them having NEVER won it yet
Toronto - I have so many reasons to hate that city and those fans
Montreal - Classic rivalry, AB / QB rivalry (rrrgh, we want energy east.. ) Theywon enough of them before we were born
Winnipeg - Meh, I suppose if anyone, perhaps least bothersome
Ottawa - same as Winnipeg but they're not winning the cup anytime soon anyway so who cares.

I think in this case it's more about it being a blindside hit on a player who hasn't even touched the puck. That can't be allowed.

If they win this round, who will they face?

Yeah this one's over and you can pencil the Panthers into the cup finals. Toronto might push them to 6 because Berube is a very competent coach. Whatever comes out of the metro likely lasts 5. These guys know how to win at playoff hockey.

This is not good for our draft pick.

When is the draft lottery? It would be nice to win that with our pick and have it move into the top 10 so the Habs get the FLA pick.instead.

May 5th.

And yes that would be amazing. This pick was never going to be a good one.

No, but at 21 it was not awful...especially if the Wild or Blues won a couple rounds and bumped it up. But once it's down to 31 type of thing..its like a 25% chance you get a guy who plays 200 games for your team. Teams have found good players here before, but it's definitely a higher chance of it amounting to nothing but heartache.

Yeah Florida losing in the first two rounds is what's best for the Flames.

Lighting, Leafs, I don't care who they are playing, they need to lose.

That pick being 22 vs 29-32 is actually a huge difference.

Looks like Bennett had to bite his tongue for a couple of seconds when asked about the Barkov hit lol. He's going to look to line up guys now for sure.

Sorry, just to be clear by not a good one I meant it wasn't going to be a low pick.
