I think the 2022 goal might have turned that whole series around. If I recall it was either a tying or go ahead goal in the third period.

The NHL. F’ing the Flames since 2004.

Still no gif or replay of the goalie interference?

Edit: found this, 2:50 for the botched call

It was a go ahead goal pretty late in the third in game 5. Ends up going to ot and we lose

Yes, go ahead goal. They win and it's 3-2 in games, they have some momentum and could easily have won.

I'm glad I missed that cause I might still be mad today about it. Maybe not.

I'm still miffed over the Coleman goal given that the "kick" was inconsequential to it going in. He was helping it along but it was already sliding in! And Smith was too out of position to prevent it.

Same logic as a guy hauled down with a breakaway on an EN ruling it a goal should count, kick or not.

Still think the Flames lose the series but I don't know why the officials had their panties in a knot over the Flames taking a well deserved late lead. It would have made for a better series. More games. More revenue.

Even if the goal of the NHL these days is entertainment over integrity then allowing that goal is in their interest.

Idiots.

Watched an interview today with Deboer after the game last night. Now I'm mad about the game again. What an arrogant pr*ck, hope his team folds in the first round and the loser gets fired again. He gave zero credit to the flames effort, said he liked the Stars' first period but maybe ran out of gas a bit. Alluded to the fact that the shot clock didn't tell the full story, said they have the firepower to be opportunistic and don't just fire the puck at the net from where ever. And noted the video review calls changed the momentum of the game. Basically made it sound like they had it in the bag the whole time. What a punk.

They're not juggernauts by any means, there's a vast difference when we play a team like Colorado compared to the Stars. They're deep on paper but I don't see them going far.

There’s not a ton of difference between most teams in the league. The Flames dominated the stars but their achilles heel of lack of goal scoring was front and center.

That was really the difference. The Stars buried their chances.

At the rate goals were allowed, the Flames would’ve had to score 12 to win.
