We need St Louis to start plunging off a cliff

We have multiple games in hand on STL.

It's not as dire as it looks as they have less runway, and their schedule finishes with a bit of a gauntlet.

Canucks will be the biggest threat. Gah, why couldn't we play one good period and close that game against them in regulation?

If the rumor that he was rushed back too soon and is still hurt is true, that might explain why he looks lazy.

I guess we won't really know until next season. If he plays the same way then it can't be that.

Or win one of the two against the Blues.

The answer is because it’s the Flames.

I think that was probably true at the start. He missed all of training camp which put him behind the 8 ball.

But when I watch him he just does not look like a high motor kind of guy. Yesterday was the first time I had seen him throw a hit. I think it’s just his personality.

It's not about his conditioning though. It sounds like he wasn't fully healed when they brought him back and he's been fighting it all season.
