When Sharongovich and Rooney come back I wonder what they are going to do with the roster.

My guess is Costco and Honzek go down if there are no more injuries. I think Coronato has looked a bit better and he has paid his dues. Klapka brings something both of them don’t have.

I really like how all 4 lines are productive so far. Those are the hardest teams to play against. You never get a break. The D pairings seem to be getting more familiar as well. Play in our zone and breakouts are improving each game.

Conman is a wizard so far. Guess we’ll see how they handle adversity when it shows up.

I think Sharangovich results in Honzek going down. Coronato stays, and he and Klapka continue to be the movable pieces. I think Costco is well on his way to taking Rooney's job - he's bigger and more impactful, which is a better fit for the 4th line.

I can’t see the Flames doing that. Their lineup is too mature for that to happen and the biggest question marks in net and on D are not looking bad.

They may sit Honzek for a game so that he can watch it from up top, ala Johnny Gaudreau in his first season. Put Coronato in the top 9 somewhere and Klapka back on the 4th line. If Honzek doesn't start notching some points, I can see them sending him down so he can work on his game and get the positive reinforcement of picking up points. It is somewhat dependent on how soon Sharangovich returns.
