Man, Grushnikov looks like a full blown NHL D man. Be a shame if he was sent to the farm.

Garland mad because he turned his back while getting hit. Love seeing the push back from Backs and Zary there though

Garland gets nothing for a pure punch at Zary after the scrum.
Maybe he shouldnt put himself in a dangerous spot on the corner. Zary is the last guy that's going to hit you.

Bad line changes by the Flames have created some great scoring chances for the Canucks. Got to clean that up.

If the flames are selling opportunity and the idea that jobs can be earned and a player earns it and still gets cut, isnt that the opposite of what the spirit of job competition is about?
No, there isnt anything wrong with starting on the farm, but a player earning a job should be rewarded. To me, hes shown better than Solovyov, kuznetsov, Pachal, Hanley. Theres room for him.

Pachal was trying to get the Gordie Howe hat trick.

Shorthouse has been lost a lot this game. Always seems confused by who is getting a penalty.
Rick Ball would never.

What did Coleman do to Desharnais there? It looked like he grabbed his head and pulled it down. Desharnais looked pretty mad, but I got a kick out of it.

Honzek is such a good player for his age. He would be good in the NHL right now, but would it still be better for his development if he plays in the AHL? Conroy and his peers have some very difficult decisions to make because it could mean losing Pelletier.
Also, that ref who was looking right at Honzek during the elbow without lifting his arm is a bad ref.

Did Shorthouse think that wasn't an elbow?

Wouldn’t mind seeing someone bury Garland at this point and then taunt Deshardumbass while he’s sitting in the box.

This implies it's black and white that he is better than the other players, which is rarely the case.
Hanley, Kuz and Solo for sure, but Pachal is very debatable
He'll be on the team soon enough, one way or the other - there's no reason to suggest the Flames are wronging him
