With how wide open the east is right now, I won't be surprised if Anholt isn't even close to being done yet.

And I'm thinking much bigger than just depth on D.

I'd agree, but we're running out of tradable assets. We have our 2 1sts on 26/27... That's about it. Though... If Marques is out longterm as it sounds rumoured and won't play much this year anyways... Maybe you dangle him as trade bait to Kelowna in a package to get Cristall?

That would make sense for both teams for sure, especially if Marques is out. He can help them next year in their mem cup year while Cristall will be gone pro.

Price would also be a 19yo that's gone next year who would completely bolster the Canes blue line and make it elite.

Pulling all that off would be shades of '97 when Maxwell brought in Chris Phillips, who was just about to turn 19 but he looked like a 19 year old veteran when compared to the rest of the WHLers. Shane Willis was also in that trade and the Canes didn't give up much roster players but probably a lot of picks and prospects(I don't remember the details).

One of the biggest blockbusters in CHL history. It was and 8 player deal which also had D Dylan Kemp and G Blaine Russel go the Canes as well. That team was absolutely stacked.

Tigers beat the Canes last night 4-0, Basha had 2 assists but went down awkwardly and left the game with a couple minutes remaining. Not dressing today in their game vs the Hitmen.

Injuries. They just won't ####ing stop

Hopefully, it's nothing too serious, Basha has been playing very well of late. Nice to see the Ruck boys hitting the scoresheet as well.

Tigers squeak out a point in an OT loss to the Hitmen today.

Dressed 8 rookies.

That's pretty impressive. What are your thoughts on Switzer, he's putting up some pretty good numbers between the pipes for the Tigers in my opinion.

He's getting better and better the more he plays. Gives me hope that the goalie question for next season looks to be already answered.

Tigers take five out of a possible six points playing three games in three nights. That'll do quite nicely.

PA gets into the trade action by picking up Matteo Fabrizi from Red Deer. I think that if/when Medicine Hat gets healthy, they will be the favorites in the East but I can't remember a year with such parity.

There is chatter out there that the team with the best win percentage in the east, the Blades, are going to blow things up. Molendyk is supposed to be on the move and maybe a couple others. Crazy if true.

Well, with their loss to PA earlier today, the Blades are 3-5-1-1 in their last 10 games. Speaking of PA, former Tiger Tomas Mrsic is having a heck of a season for the Raiders.

I've been waiting for this to come. The Hitmen have acquired goalie Daniel Hauser.

The Royals look to be loading up for a playoff run.

I heard thru the grapevine that we may have seen the last of Basha this season. Hope my info is wrong. I don't think I've ever been witness to a season plagued by injuries this badly.

That would truly suck if it is indeed the case. No need to rush him back as I think the Tigers will make the playoffs without Basha, but he would be a great addition if he is able to return for the post-season.
